AKSI UNTUK RUMAH PONGO

Pongo is an umbrella species that plays a vital role in the sustainability of forest ecosystems. Yet, its existence remains under constant threat; in fact, the orangutan has been classified as critically endangered since 2016. Today, orangutan habitats are shrinking due to logging, land clearing for agriculture, mining, and forest fires.

Remarkably, orangutan and human DNA share up to 97 percent similarity. Just imagine how alike we are to Pongo and imagine how they feel when they lose their home.

If the trees fall, where will Pongo go home to?

This is our chance to take action for Indonesia’s nature specifically, by helping to preserve orangutan habitats. Start your journey by donating and receive a special thank you gift!
